Data transfer
We offer various options for data transfer (CAD data). From Autodesk AutoCAD and Mechanical Desktop to TruTops Cell and WiCAM PN 4000, we support a wide range of CAD systems. Our compatibility includes formats such as DWG, DXF, IGES, STEP, VDAFS as well as native formats from SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER and IBM CATIA.
CAD systems
The following CAD systems are available at HGGS LaserCUT:
- VISI 2023 CAD/CAM for tool and mold making
- TruTops Cell (incl. CAM module for programming the 3D laser machine)
- WiCAM PN 4000 V4.3 (2D CAD module and 2D CAM module for punching and lasering)
- Cadman-L V7.17 (2D CAM module for laser machine)
Data formats
The following data formats can be transferred from Windows or UNIX systems (data carrier / data exchange to be agreed if necessary):
- AutoCAD 2000 [*.dwg]
- Mechanical Desktop [*.dwg] (all releases up to 5)
- DXF data [*.dxf] (all versions, including 3D data)
- IGES data [*.igs and others] (up to version 5.0, preferably areas)
- STEP data [*.stp]
- VDAFS data [*.vda and others].
- SolidWorks (native format)
- Pro/ENGINEER (native format)
- IBM CATIA (export format [*.exp])
